About Levy, Ram & Olson After working together in the early 1980s at a large San Francisco law firm, Arthur Levy, Michael Ram and Karl Olson decided to work together again, but this time in their own San Francisco law firm. The three friends wanted to provide high-quality legal representation built on their years of experience but with the personal attention larger firms cannot always offer. Since its founding on April 1, 1997, the firm has attracted a strong nucleus of attorneys and support staff who are dedicated to achieving the best outcomes for their clients. The somewhat amusing founding date is suited to the firm's culture, one where people can enjoy their work. The firm's practice is focused on class action lawsuits. Using their decades of experience, the firm's attorneys and staff prepare and pursue cases through trial or settlement to achieve the best result for the class. The specialty areas of class action practice are defective products, consumer fraud and employment. Under Karl Olson, the firm has also developed one of the leading Media Law and First Amendment practices in California.
Arthur Levy, Michael Ram and Karl Olson have each been named "Northern California Superlawyers" by San Francisco Magazine in 2006 and 2007.
